Our mission is to make a difference with the overwhelming stray feline population. The Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) registered NO KILL rescue organization operating on public donations only.
Description
Til the End of Time Sanctuary moved to Appomattox from New Jersey in July 2012. The Sanctuary is similar to a shelter setting but with the exception that if an animal does not get adopted, he or she can live out its natural life with us, in a cage-free environment, 'til the end of time." We are a NO KILL facility -- we do not euthanize.
The Sanctuary has many sweet, friendly, furry friends available for adoption to an "approved" wonderful forever loving home. Adoption visits can be arranged by calling the Sanctuary at 434-607-7994.
Although many times we are unable to accept additional animals, we are more than willing to help find good loving homes for your pets. We will also be happy to recommend placement of your pet to one of our clients, as well as post photographs and information about your pet on our adoption board, which is displayed at all of our events.
The Sanctuary is also available to work with the community to help answer questions about many problem areas involving domestic animals, and to work together with youth organizations such as church youth groups, eagle scouts, girl scouts, 4-H groups, and many others.
Our goal is to make a difference with the overwhelming stray feline population. Remember -- spay and neuter your pets. This alone has a major impact on the overwhelming homeless pet problem. There are many low cost and "no cost" programs available to help with the spaying and neutering expense. We hope to be able to offer in the future several programs ourselves that will be available to the public.
